"Mostly Mississippi"

KEITH HARDEN has a new release under his belt, aptly titled Mostly Mississippi, as the sumptuous collection contains covers from mostly Mississippi blues artists (20's-40's). Harden's voice, on the edge of gravelly, yet closer to refined, is ideal for these tracks, as is his superb playing. He captures the pure essence of the blues throughout, and is not afraid to perform songs from legends like Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Bo Diddley. Adding some harmonica when appropriate, Harden brings the warmth of the Mississippi Delta to our frosty hometown, with upcoming shows at Beale Street Cafe (every Tuesday night) and at Froggy's on Saturday, February 7th...
