Harden's voice, on the edge of gravelly, yet closer to refined, is ideal for these tracks, as is his superb playing. He captures the pure essence of the blues throughout, and is not afraid to perform songs from legends like Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Bo Diddley.
